And these delicious fresh chicken wings are at the Walmart Deli. I like a side of celery and ranch dressing to complement (and) cool them. For parties they’re always a hit and are gone in the first 30 minutes.
When I was a kid, we went to a party where some “very hot” chicken wings were served. My brother who was older, teased me that I couldn’t eat one. So I put one on my plate just to prove that I could.
I took a deep breath and then started to eat it. It was the hottest thing I had ever eaten. I was shocked that a piece of chicken could be so hot. My whole mouth was on fire. I wanted to fan my mouth or gasp but I was determined to eat the hot wing. I finished the rest of the wing while he watched in awe. “It wasn’t hot at all”, I said smiling. Then, just as soon as I could (without being seen) I put a large ice cube in my mouth. He was impressed. And I had won.
But spicy chicken can taste good – if you have just the right amount of spices. The breading on this chicken is just the right thickness and is well seasoned. The fiery cayenne pepper is what brings the heat but it’s not too much.

This hearty Italian bean soup warms you inside and out. It is thick, rich, healthy, and satisfying. When you cook it, your house will be filled with the scent of herbs – oregano, thyme, and basil.
Here’s how to make it.
Heat butter in a large 5 quart pot over med-high heat. Cook vegetables, garlic, herbs, seasonings, and ground pepper for 15 minutes. Stir every 3-4 minutes.
Sprinkle flour evenly over the top and stir to combine. Stir in ham, tomatoes, broth, and mashed beans. Increase heat to high and bring to a boil.
These little raspberry crumb cakes are fresh, moist, and tasty. They are the perfect “bite size”. I first saw them on the discounted “We Baked Too Much” rack. My family and I were quickly wowed by them.

I bet you’d like to do a full body dive into this tasty dip. It sure attracts a crowd at a party – with the different layers and pretty colors.
Cream Cheese Layer. In a medium bowl, with a mixer set on medium speed, combine the cream cheese and sour cream. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt, dill, thyme, and cracked pepper and mix until well blended.
Avocado Layer. Put the avocados in a small bowl. Toss them with a small amount of lemon juice (to keep them from turning brown). Evenly spread out the avocado pieces on the cream cheese layer about ¼ inch in from all of the edges. I made an outline first, then filled it in.
Tomato Layer. Put diced tomatoes on the avocado layer – about ¼ inch in from the edge of the avocado layer.
Onion Layer. Put onion on the tomato layer – about ¼ inch in from the edge of the tomato layer.
Bell Pepper Layer. Put bell peppers on the onion layer – about ¼ inch in from the edge of the onion layer.
Cheese Layer. Put cheese on the bell pepper layer – about ¼ inch in from the edge of the bell pepper layer.
Cilantro Layer. Put cilantro on the cheese layer – about ¼ inch in from the edge of the cheese layer.

Mashed potatoes are a critical element at most holiday dinners. And this recipe is so creamy and delicious. It has great garlic, herbs, cheeses, and cream. You really should try my mashed potato recipe.
President™ Brie 6 oz. $3.98
Cook potatoes in a large pot of boiling, salted water for 10-15 minutes until tender. Drain them.
In a small pan over medium-high heat, sauté garlic, onion, thyme, and chives in butter for 2 minutes.
With a mixer, mash the potatoes, onion/butter mixture, cream cheese, whipping cream, salt, and 1½ tsp. pepper on low to then medium speed. Mix until everything is nicely blended together. It will be thick. Don’t add additional whipping cream. (It will thin when it’s baked in the oven with the Brie.) Taste it to adjust the seasoning if needed.
By hand, stir in the Brie cheese. Transfer it to a 1½ quart casserole dish. Refrigerate until ready to bake.

Want a bite of heaven? Then you have to try these amazing hamburger cabbage stuffed buns.
Buns
In a separate medium-size bowl, combine sugar, salt, and melted 1 stick butter. Microwave milk on high for 60 seconds, and stir it into the sugar mixture. Let it cool. Then add eggs and the yeast. Stir.
Stir in 3 c. flour and beat with a mixer on medium speed until smooth.
Add 2½ c. more flour and stir until dough is soft.
Meat and Cabbage Filling
When dough has doubled, prepare baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Punch down the dough and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
Put 2 T. of meat/cabbage mixture in the center of each square. Pull opposite corners of the dough to each other, and pinch together. Then bring the other corners in and pinch. Also pull in any openings and pinch them in that center. Place bottom side down on parchment sheet. Make sure it looks dome-shaped.

El Dorado Casserole is easy to make. It has two layers you mix – a meat layer and a sour cream layer. Then you add a layer of cheese, and a layer of tortilla chips.
And both families also get half of a large salad, half of a loaf of garlic bread, and half of a dessert. This way, each family gets a whole dinner, not just one dish.
In a skillet, brown hamburger on medium heat. Drain off grease. Add tomato sauce, olives, garlic salt, and minced onion. Mix. Set aside. Preheat oven to 350º
In a small bowl, combine cottage cheese, sour cream, and green chilies. Set aside.
Cover with half of the meat mixture.
Spread half of the cottage cheese mixture on top of the meat layer, then top with half the cheese.

So, our bubble wand design is simple. You start with a long wooden dowel (3 foot) that can be painted (or not). The rope is a “jump rope”, that is easily taken apart. And the plastic rings allow the rope to slide to create the bubbles.

You might be shocked at the taste of this deli fresh pepperoni pizza! The pepperoni had a nice spicy kick and was scattered around on top. It had tiny pieces of ham also. It was topped with four cheeses: provolone, parmesan, romano, and mozzarella. I noticed a mix of herbs for seasoning.
