Trick or Treaters can see this happy pumpkin face door greeter when they walk down your street. He’s all about giving out candy with a very happy smile.
You’ll like how easy this pumpkin face is to make. Kids can’t help but smile when they see him. And you can add a few empty candy boxes or wrappers to his mouth if you want.
On Halloween, we decorate and turn on our porch lights so kids can easily see us. We love the tradition of handing out sweets to kids in costumes.
My uncle loved to play pranks on people. One Halloween night he dressed as a ghost. He put a big sheet over himself and cut out holes for his eyes. Then, he went to his friend’s house next door. His friend was quite surprised to see such a large trick or treater. He had a large bowl of candy and was ready to give my uncle a few pieces.
But, my uncle took the whole bowl of candy. His neighbor friend just stood there frozen – with his arms out still holding the imaginary bowl. His mouth dropped open unknowing how to respond – since the trick or treater was bigger than him.
My uncle only made it a few steps down the sidewalk before he burst out laughing. He was laughing so hard he could hardly speak as he took the sheet off to reveal himself.
He and his neighbor got the biggest laugh out of that prank. Hopefully no trick or treaters will walk off with your whole bowl of candy.
