For best results, make these bubbles on a day that is very humid, cloudy, and not windy. You don’t want to do it on a dry, sunny, or windy day.
To make GIANT bubbles, tilt the wand down toward the screw eye. The ropes should slide down to the end.
Dip the ropes completely in a large container of bubble solution. Don’t stir it around or it creates lots of suds – just dip it.
Lift the wand out of the solution. Allow any excess solution to drain back into the container.
Raise it up so that the plastic ring on the wand slides back toward your hand and the loop opens. There should be a film of bubble solution across the opening of the loop.
Level out the wand so that the bottom loop is as large as possible. The wider that bottom loop, the bigger the bubble.
Slowly walk forward. (Fast movement can pop the bubble.) Or you can gently wave the rope to push the bubble out.
Walking forward or a gentle wave makes a long bubble that is attached to the wand. Walking it across a long distance creates very long bubbles.
To release a bubble from the wand – tilt the wand downward to close the loop.
When the wand’s plastic ring is down on the dowel (away from the screw eye) the lower rope’s loop opens up wide like this. Sometimes bubbles will come out of the top loop as well.
