I was sure these marshmallow crisp rice treats were not going to impress me. But they did. My aunt had a great recipe for these treats. When I tasted hers, I was gobsmacked – they were much better than the \u201cside of the cereal box\u201d recipe.<\/p>\n

\"MarshmallowThese crisp rice treats from The Bakery\u2122 (at Walmart) are sooo chewy and moist. They look pretty – dressed up with red and white sprinkles for Valentine\u2019s Day. And the package says they are made using Rice Krispies\u2122 cereal. Hmmm. That\u2019s a good start.<\/p>\n

They were sweet and fresh with a soft, chewy taste. They were a little heavy on the sprinkles, which made them crunchy, but it\u2019s OK cuz they\u2019re cute.<\/p>\n

The bars are perfectly cut to about 1\u00bd x 2\u00bd inches \u2013 a nice size for little ones. And the box held a good amount – 24.<\/p>\n

So, I like these treats, especially when I don\u2019t have time to make my own. (Now we are busy stuffing Valentine treat bags. Let\u2019s see \u2013 bags for TWENTY FIVE friends for each child (FOUR children). That makes, just in case you didn\u2019t know, a HUNDRED Valentines! Whew!)<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a nice treat to take to a Valentine\u2019s Day party. Or you could put the bars in individual bags and give them out to friends with Valentines.<\/p>\n

Now about those 100<\/strong> Valentines\u2026 ; )<\/p>\n
